For the Love of Yoda

Yoda is this cute little blind pitbull. Amy is this lovely little lady who is so darn pretty. She also is pretty gosh darn funny. She was ballsy to post these super awesome photos of herself as a young gal. Without her permission I will not post the photo, but I will explain my favorite one to you. The title of her photo on Facebook is "why I can't be famous". Amy is wearing those awesome 80s-90s thick light pink transparent glasses, a bun that sits right on top of her head pretty close to her bangs. The bun is held in place by a gold metal "bun holder" with a pin through it. You can barely see the makings of a glorious polka-dot sweatshirt with all the neon of the rainbow.Then my favorite part about Amy's photo is that she has a smile ear-to-ear with the most crazy amount of pink blush ever. It just cracks me up. That is how cool Amy is. I think we all have a few of these in our past. :) I have one of me from 4th or 5th grade with the huge bangs and a fly was caught a top my hair-spayed bangs. I cut the tops off of  all the wallets to give to my friends.

Sole Spa Inc Services Menu

Ok, so this is a return customer I have. Diane and her husband own Sole Spa (Sole was the name of her husband's mother, cool huh?). They have this great little full service Spa in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Diane is so great to work with and is always excited about design. Another great thing....wait for it...SHE USES PHOTOSHOP!!! Yes, that is always a plus because she can make all the little changes to her pricing and little spelling errors, or even above I didn't bold all the text on some of the menu items and she is going to do it. Call me lazy, but I love that. hee hee. Thanks Diane for your business and I look forward to working with you for years to come.

Wrapsody

Wrapsody, where do I start? I was like love at first site when I was asked to re-do the marketing materials for Wrapsody Scarfs and Wrapsody Kids. The founder and owner Heather Wirth is seriously the sweetest, most awesome gal. I have never heard her in a bad mood and we have logged some serious phone time (PS...sorry I missed your call yesterday Heather. Took a computer mini vaca!) . It has been great. She and I just connect and understand each other. Sounds lame, but is is just one of those special Graphic Design connections. lol

So we are working on tons of stuff that I will show of later but this one was super fun for me. She had this printed out really big for her booth at the Wisconsin State Fair and also had them laminated in a smaller size that her staff could hand out to people as a selling tool to create these cool tutu bundles. I wanted it to be like a little map showing the customers where to go. Like a Build-A-Bear workshop but with seriously cute girly stuff.

So that was two weeks ago and now Heather is all done with the Wisconsin State Fair. Now hopefully she is all rested up for the Minnesota State Fair next week. Anyone in the area should come and check her out. The price can't be beat and awesome for photography props?? Yes, I think so. I will be there with Kaylee picking out a tutu Darling Bundle. She is so super excited.

Behind on blog...

Okay, so I can't find time to update my blog...sometimes it is hard to find the time to shower. lol. It is so crazy here with two kids at home, one energetic chocolate lab, and unending deadlines, unending household chores, school supplies for preschool, preschool dates and paperwork to remember, and now my little son Kole is now having some speech therapy so I am trying to keep it all straight. Really I am so blessed to have all those things in my life. Blessed to have beautiful healthy children, a career I love and I house that really is a home. Anywhoo...it is early her in Minnesota and I will move on from the "poor me" and get on to the good stuff...Graphic Design!! Oh, I have had some cool stuff lately so lets just go over some stuff in the next few blogs huh? :)
